A sad story..

Good afternoon my friends:

Today Im gonna publish my last post on this blog (I hope), and this is about the animal rights. I think the animal rights are a pending issue in Chile. Sometimes I see in Facebook or Youtube a lot of videos and images about animal abuse. There are people who enjoy hurting animals like dogs, cats, horses, birds, etc… and the worst of all is that these animals are their pets in the most of cases. 

Currently, I don’t know so much animal organizations. I remember had one of these organizations near my house. It was called “Sociedad Protectora de Animales” and they used to pick up abandoned animals, most of them were dogs, and to keep them inside of the building of this organization. They had dogs, cats and some birds. Actually, one friend of mine gave me a cat as a gift, but the cat was sick, and one week later he dies. So I decided to go to the Sociedad Protectora de Animales to ask why my cat dies so fast and apparently because no reasons. So I talk to the vet, and he said to me the cat died because an infection he got before he arrive to my house, in the building of the organization. That was the answer.

Later, after a couple of weeks, I was watching the news on TV, and the Sociedad Protectora the Animales appeared on a scandal. Happened that it was an enormous virus around the entire building, and the animals were dying in huge amounts, and the Sociedad, the only thing they did, was thrown away in bags, with no care about the reason because they were dying. Finally, the virus spread around my neighborhood, and a lot of more pets died. It is a very sad and real story, and I choose it to share with you to beware about the animal organizations, and to demand with you more care for the animals and also to demand respect with the animal rights soon.

Save the Planet !

Good afternoon classmates. 

Today I’m gonna talk about ecological stuffs, because the world is very contaminated, and doing ecological practices, like reciclyng, we can help the world and save us. For example I ussually ride on a bike, and I try to get anywhere on it. I think this practice saves the planet, because is a car less, and in a city like Santiago, without the ideal ventilation or frecuent rains, the polution produced by a car is important. I think everybody has to ride on bikes to move to one place or another because is very good sport and you save the planet. About recycling, I can’t tell you so much… I’m not a recycler, and principally is because my environment offers no spaces or fixed politics about this practice. But when I see a recycling trash container, as there is in my campus, I recycle. But, and I insist, is because the society who offers no recycling politics the reason of how little the people reciclyng. That in the case of Chile. In other places arround the world, the recycling practices and other ecological stuff are highly encouraged, and exist so many organizations which aims are cleaning and save the planet. One of this organizations is Greenpeace. I receive mails of this organization sometimes, and this is the way I find the information of the progess or the abuses on nature by man, and most of this information, currently, is about Hydroaysen, the mega project that will destroy the chilean Patagonia. Things like this project are so stupid, on my opinión, because we must take care of our environment or we gonna live on a world made of plastic and cement.

Euthanasia D:

Good afternoon fellows!
this week Im going to speak about euthanasia. But actually I dont have mi thoughts and beliefs clearly enough to give you a good and argumented opinión about this polemic topic. But I can tell you about this people I know, some friends. Most of them agree with euthanasia, and they think its necessary to legalize it. But I wonder what happen with the coma patients, who cant decide it for themselves, who make that decisión? Because we are talking about kill a person here. Its really complicated.
If Id be on great pain, or invalide, or on terminal disease, or anything like that, maybe I would take the choice to get me out of the hospital and dying “naturally”, but no by an injection or stuffs like that.
I think the people I know agree with euthanasia because they dont want to be a “dead weight” to their families and make them to spend a lot of money  for a lost cause. This is my opinión.
Maybe euthanasia should be a personal choice, and nothing more.

The countries I want to visit someday...

Good afternoon fellows !

Have you ever been on another country? I don’t, but I have always wanted. I’m not sure about the especific country I want to go, they are too much and I would like to be in a lot of them. One of this countries is Brazil, because a lot of reasones. Firstly, for the language: I really love the portuguese and I want to learn it as soon as possible. Secondly, it’s for the people. I heard a lot of the brazilian people and I really like their warm and nice behaviour, and they are very good dancers.
Another country I would like to visit and live for a while, it’s Austria, on the city of Viena. I don’t really know why I have this wish… it might be for the old movies I have seen about Viena, and it seens to be so beautyfull. But I have a problem… I should learn german to live on that city.
And finally, another countries I like to visit could be Argentina, Greece, Nederland and Ecuador.

Chilean Films

Hello fellows !!!
Today i’m going to talk about a very exciting topic… and it is… (chan chan!) Chilean Cinema!
I think this is a exciting topic because all the people who read that blog are chilean, and i’m sure they saw at least one or two movies “made in Chile”. I’ll be glad if you, on the comments, say which chilean films you like and which you don’t. It could be fun. And also you can say to me which film I should not watch ever.
Well, as a starting, I dont like the thriller films, neither on chilean films. I like more comedies and dramatic genres.
A film I like so much is “mi mejor enemigo”, I dont remember who the actors are, but they do a really good job. That movie is about the Argentina – Chile conflict in the 70’s decade, it was almost a war. I recommend to you, please watch this film if you don’t watched it yet.
Another movie I want to talk is “Violeta se fue a los cielos”, although I haven’t watch it yet, I heard a lot about this incredible film. I will go to the cinema to watch it when just have the time. I would really like if you can talk me about this movie on the comments if you have watch it.

A Very Special Term

Hello bloggers!
I come back to my blog to talk you about my current term. This term is very special because a lot of reasones. First, we started this term on November, but ussually we do this on July. Because of that, this term is extremely short, and we have to “learn” the subjects in a record time.
Another reason is the weather. I was never be on a classroom so warm. Its really awful.
But not the entire term is bad, I have some expectations about it. For example, we have a subject called “Psiquiatria”, and I think that is very interesting, and one of the teachers really really know how to teach effectively. The others terms I have currently are “metodologia cualitativa”, “Neurociencia cognitiva”, “Ps. Del desarrollo II”, “Psicologia Social II” and one subject named by my classmates as “IALEP”. Its an abbreviation.
Of those subjects, the other one I like is “psicologia Social II”, but no so much.

the best photo ever!

Good afternoon visitors!

Today I’m going to talk you about a photograph I like too much. Well, I like to take pictures when I have a camera in my hands, and I like to capture the people smiling. About nature, I’m not a good photographer, because I always miss the opportunities when I have the chance to capture a good image. Whatever, the photograph I like too much is this (under). I like it because represents the inmensity of nature, and his relationship with the Human been.

This picture was taken by a friend, on a backpacking on Chiloé. The zone is named Cucao, and this beach its called Chanquin. The person who appear here its me… I don’t like the beach, not too much, but Chanquin is so cool, I really love it.

The moment when my friend toke this picture was cool because it was so many wind, and it dragging the sand, and under the sand were so many shells, and the sea… oh the sea! Everything was so cool!

In this moment I felt like a minimal thing on this greatest world, a little part of the nature, a particle of sand. I think it was like feeling the soul of the world at this place. An advice to you: if you have the possibility to have a trip to the south of Chile, please go to Cucao, and visit the beach of Chanquin… is a magic place, and you could feel the same thing I felt. But don’t go on winter xD… is better in summertime, when the sun is shining and the wind is not too strong to drop you on the sand.

The best day of my life

Hello!

I remember the best day of my life…. It was when my little sister was born.
it happens on June 14^th of 2004. It was a cold day, in the morning, and me and my uncle went to the clinic where my mother was. In the way to there, we bought her –my sister- a white teddy bear. It was so soft. And my uncle bought to my mother a chocolate box. And also, I chose a card appropriate to the occasion. When we arrive, we deliver my mother our gifts… she doesn’t look so good, but it`s reasonable. When I saw my little sister, I felt a kind of “shill”, might be for the greatest emotion of saw her after this long time of waiting for her. I toke her in my arms, and I see her blue eyes, and I almost “jump” of happiness. She is so beautiful !

This was the happiness day of my life, because all my life I want to have a sister or a brother, and I had to wait for thirteen years to have one. It was the greatest day of my life.

Now, my little sister is six years old, and soon she will to be seven. We are the best brother and sister in the world! Jaja. We are playing everyday and everytime. I teach her a lot of things, and she sing me songs she learnd at the school. We have a lot of fun!

my favorite technological piece

Hello !

Today im going to talk you about my favorite piece of technology…. And it is… chan chan chan! My cellphone! Yes it is. So many people currently have a cellphone, even two, and it is indispensable for the frenetic rythm of the contemporary times. This is why i like it, because i can comunicete with everyone just pressing a few numbers. I can find people when im lost, i can asking for doubts, i can talk to people when i want to do. And additionally I can connect to the internet, and it has games! And also has a camera to take pictures and videos, I can play music with that. It got everything!

I used it like the most people do, but lamentably I don’t charged it with money often, and I can’t call the people everytime. But I don’t care about that. I used than often like the other people.

My cellphone is Samsung and is black with red borders.

I think I could live without it, but that could be so difficult at the beginning. I can contact people, but by other ways, like the internet, or public phones, but functions like listen music at the same time sending a text message couldn’t be easy.

Well, that was my work for today.

Music for everything

I’d like to share with you what kind of music i listen when i’m sad… well, first of all i don`t like be sad (nobody wants to be sad), so i listen happy music and stuff like that. Actually, I listen too much a brazilian reggae band, named “Natiruts”. And my favorite song of them it’s “Andei Sò”. I really like it! This song makes me happy, and after I listened it, I get so relaxed.

On this song, I really like the armonica’s solo on it... it’s better on live, in a video i have seen a few times… Im gonna attach you this video, and you will apreciate that.

Maybe you will listen the same music when you will be sad, i dont know… I hope so.

But Natiruts is not my favorite band… my favorite music band is “The Doors”, leaded by the legendary Jim Morrison… If you want, in the future i can attach a video of this great band. Could be songs like “Light my fire”, “Love me two times” or “When the music’s over”. I listen this kind of music when im sad too, but not too much on this moment… I hope you like that post and watch this video!

Gordon Allport... A really good psychologist

Gordon Allport was a psychologist, who was born in USA.He borned in 1897 and died in 1957.

He was the youngest brother of four and, like his older brother, Floyd, he decided to study psichology. He was shy and a studious boy when he went to the school, and so brilliant at high school. He studied psychology on Harvard University, and his first publication was with his brother colaboration, Floyd.He visited Sigmund Freud in Viena, and he realized that the psychology its more deeper than the behavior science believe.

He created a few personality test’s, and talked about the genotypes and phenotypes on the behavior. His theory, named “trait theory”, is a try to describe a person with three factors: the cardinal traits, the central traits and the secondary traits.

I like this psychologist because he was a classic expert on the field, and his theory and tests were and still are a very important contribution to this discipline. I think Allport is on the top ten of the most recognized psychollogist in the world.
